Apnalaya uplifts the urban poor – ENABLING access to basic services, healthcare, education and livelihoods; EMPOWERING them to help themselves; and ENSURING provision of civic entitlements through advocacy with the government. To break the cycle of urban poverty, Apnalaya recognises that it is not sufficient simply to provide services, but that a multi-dimensional approach is needed. We, therefore, work with Individuals, Communities and Government at various levels, to effect change on the ground.
