Setting up your WeddingSutra Charity Registry is so easy. You’ll probably be done in less than 5 minutes.

Simply register by answering a few questions and from there you will be able to enter up to 5 charities to support through your wedding registry. That’s it. You’re set up. Once your registry is in place, you will have a direct link you can share with your guests to click directly to your registry, or simply direct them to and they can search for you by name.

If you don’t know what charities to pick, start by doing a bit of research in a cause that pulls to you. Maybe it’s eliminating poverty and supporting education or maybe you care most about helping animals. Before giving to any charitable organization, it is recommended to do your due diligence by researching their work and how they spend their funds to ensure they align with your personal values. 

As charity gifts come in, they will automatically be sent to the corresponding organization and can be tracked by you in your registry. Every person’s gift including name, amount and organization will be disclosed to you so you can send thank you cards. 

Your guests will also receive an e-receipt of their charity gift and a thank you note from us on your behalf. 

Our goal is to connect couples with charitable organizations and social enterprises to help move the charitable needle in a major way. 90% of every charity gift goes straight to the organization of your choice while 3% of the remaining funds go towards credit card processing fees and the remaining 7% of the donation is considered an administrative fee used to pay salaries, operating expenses and to grow WeddingSutra Charity Registry.
